The SIMF has published Deliverable 1.2 on the Catalogue of SI Impact Pathways.
This catalogue explores and makes visible the ways in which social innovation (SI)
contributes to the current five EU Missions and to mission -oriented innovation policy
(MOIP) more broadly. It does so through two analyses. It examines how SI is currently
embedded within the Mission s programming cycle and draw s on emerging insights to
suggest how it can be more strongly integrated to fully leverage its transformative
potential. It also traces how SI s — characterised by new practices, social relations,
organisational forms, and institutional arrangements that address societal challenges
in new ways — contribute to Mission objectives and goals via their actual or potential
outcomes in society, in what we refer to as SI impact pathway.
