Launch: Open Call for Training and Scaling Lab Programme

For business support organisations (BSOs) and social innovation support organisations (SISOs)

The Social Innovation Mission Facility (SIMF) has launched an open call for its Training and Scaling Lab Programme, designed to help business support organisations (BSOs) and social innovation support organisations (SISOs) strengthen how they identify, support, and scale innovations contributing to the five EU Missions.

What the programme offers

Selected organisations will take part in a structured learning and peer-exchange process to upgrade their support services and support offers in as regards to social innovation and the EU Missions.

What are the EU Missions

EU Missions are large-scale European funding initiatives with clear, time-bound goals addressing major societal challenges, including Cancer, Adaptation to Climate Change, Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities, Restore our Ocean and Waters, and A Soil Deal for Europe.

What is the SIMF Training and Scaling Programme for BSOs and SISOs

The programme includes:

· Capacity building on the EU Missions and their support structure and practical translation into incubation/acceleration and advisory services

· Tools and templates to improve portfolio design, impact pathways, and scaling strategies for innovators and entrepreneurs

· Peer learning with other support organisations across Europe

· Inputs on financing and scaling possibilities, including the role of private and public actors and blended approaches where relevant
