The CRCF Regulation established the first EU-wide voluntary certification framework for: permanent carbon removals\, carbon farming\, and carbon storage in products. \nIn February\, the Commission has adopted the first set of CRCF certification methodologies on permanent carbon removals\, and will soon start recognising the schemes intending to implement those methodologies. \nLooking ahead\, the Commission aims to support the development of a robust market for high-quality carbon removals in the EU.
